Amsterdam (The Netherlands), March 21st, 2019 – 24i Media, an industry-leading, global video app developer, today announced that they will launch its innovative ATSC 3.0 solution for broadcasters and Pay-TV service providers at the 2019 NAB show in Vegas.
24i’s ATSC 3.0 solution is designed to greatly enhance over-the-air services for viewers while bringing together broadcast and broadband functionality to give audiences more content and choice. It will deliver a better experience for viewers, and also allow broadcasters to utilize addressable advertising and better measure who is watching which programs. The solution is compatible with any ATSC device, therefore allowing rapid integration on the preferred device.

With full support for hybrid TV viewing, 24i’s innovative ATSC 3.0 solution enables interactive solutions and viewing of streaming video content on a range of devices such as Smart TVs, set-top-boxes (STBs), Internet or Hybrid, with low latency (CMAF DASH).

At 24i’s booth at NAB, #SU9610, 24i will provide visitors with an interactive demo of their newly launched ATSC 3.0 solution and addressable tv. 24i has also added another potential monetization revenue stream for broadcasters, the ATSC 3.0 TV Games Portal, allowing customers to extend their solution with a TV game portal with pre- integrated monetization tools. This too will be demonstrated at the 24i booth at NAB.

In a move to empower its customers to make their video services even more personalized, powerful and intuitive, 24i Media has integrated Video Indexer into their product line. This integration will empower customers to build enhanced search experiences in their video apps, with embedded insights, that increase user engagement.

When paired with 24i's technology, metadata is automatically created by the Indexer and imported as tags into 24i's SmartOTT. For broadcasters for example, this can help create more impactful promotion clips and drive viewers to their content.

First Look Media launches new OTT streaming video service for ‘culture cravers’ on topic.com, Apple TV and iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands - 7 April 2020 – 24i, the industry-leading video experience company, today announced that Topic, the new entertainment streaming service from First Look Media, has chosen 24i to power its new streaming video experience across topic.com, Apple TV and iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.
24i provides Topic with a brand-new suite of subscription and ad-supported video applications each with a consistent, intuitive video experience irrespective of viewing platform or device. The next-generation 24i Smart OTT productised solution, integrated with specialist partner technologies from Bitmovin, CenturyLink, Cleeng, EZDRM and JUMP enables Topic to extend, manage and monetize its programming to a fast-growing audience of ‘culture cravers.’
