EPG Improvements – Channel Name Display
Enhancements to the Electronic Programme Guide now allow for improved channel name rendering, ensuring clearer navigation and a better user experience across supported devices.
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) (Configuration Required)
Enable viewers to continue watching content in a floating mini-player while browsing elsewhere in the app. Great for live events, news, and multitasking users.

Consent Management Support (Configuration Required)
New integration support for Consent Management Platforms (CMP) such as OneTrust, allowing for GDPR and CCPA-compliant consent collection across Web and Mobile platforms.
Requires setup of consent categories and display logic based on your regulatory needs.
News Series Asset Type (Configuration Required)
A new asset type purpose-built for news content, allowing you to group time-sensitive assets and automatically display the latest entries first. Ideal for news carousels and current affairs sections.

As we continue to evolve the 24i Video Cloud platform, we’re excited to share a preview of the new features launching next quarter. These updates bring more flexibility, better integration, and richer ways to engage your users from the very first screen.
Single Sign-On (SSO) (Configuration Required)
Enable seamless and secure access across platforms by integrating with your enterprise identity provider. Supports OAuth 2.0 and SAML, improving user experience and reducing login barriers.
Requires identity provider configuration and user role mapping.
Video Sitemap Support (Configuration Required)
Automatically generate structured video sitemaps to boost your content’s visibility in search engines and recommendation engines.
Configuration required to define video metadata and indexing rules.
Parameter Manager (Configuration Required)
The new Parameter Manager gives you control over the dynamic parameters passed into VAST and VAMP ad requests, enabling more precise and privacy-compliant ad targeting. It allows you to define and configure key variables such as:
- User consent status (GDPR/CCPA-compliant)
- Device type and platform
- Content metadata (genre, tags, series ID, etc.)
- Behavioral signals (e.g., viewing history, watch time, preferences)
This gives you and your monetization partners the ability to optimize ad delivery, improve campaign performance, and respect regulatory requirements — all through configurable logic, without code changes.
Configuration is managed in Backstage and may require mapping to third-party ad platforms or SSPs.
Conversion API Integration (Configuration Required)
Enable server-side event tracking for campaigns and user actions with improved accuracy and privacy compliance—ideal for platforms like Meta (Facebook) and Google Ads.
Requires integration with your analytics or ad platforms.
Double Row Playlist Carousel (Configuration Required)
A new layout component that lets you display playlist-based rows in a double-height format, perfect for hero content or heavily promoted collections.
Requires editorial setup and row type configuration.
Welcome Screens (Configuration Required)
